PROJECT OVERVIEW
PROJECT OVERVIEW
This spring we hosted our annual designathon, Design Frontiers, and we really wanted to elevate it to a whole new stratosphere.
I led the branding for the 2024 event, collaborating closely with Luca, a fellow designer from our creative team. I also designed the web and mobile sites, working alongside our talented developers—Aaron, Brian, Edward, Sahil, and Victor—to bring the interactions & animations to life!
Designing this project took roughly 2 weeks, a huge chunk done over Winter break, our fastest turn around for a large initiative! I could not have done it without the grace and skill of all the people I worked with to make this happen :’)

Design Frontiers 2024
Compromise is key

Initially, Luca and I found ourselves heading in completely different directions. However, with a tight deadline, we knew that finding a middle ground was essential. This meant making concessions and creating space for both our ideas to flourish.

The devil’s in the details
The devil’s in the details
As I worked alongside developers, I realized how much I could help their job by offering clear instructions and annotations on my designs, along with visual examples. Paying attention to the details truly made the designer-to-developer handoff more seamless.

It does not have to be perfect, but it has to be done.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we only had less than a week to present our concept for the event to the marketing team. This limitation pushed us to make quick decisions and trust our initial ideas.
